ANTONIO REZZA / FLAVIA MASTRELLA

ME

ME (Io) affronts the theme of individualism and thus the relation with the other by staging the egoism of anarchic figures that rebel against a world of falsity and clichés. A gallery of different characters and their banal stories is presented with a system of numerous colorful creations by Flavia Mastrella that serve at the same time as costume and sculptural scenic structure and give live to the tragic comic characters.

ME (Io) is perverted and funny, dealing with uncomfortable themes, speaking to the hearts of the warriors, not the romantics.

“Black and provocative humor that is close to Cipri and Maresco but somewhat more vital, able to irritate but also to make you rollonthefloorlaughing. It’s load of curses and maledictions is like a mouthful of fresh water…”
Franco Quadri, La Repubblica
